I am 23 years old and a soon to be mother. his is my first child and it is a boy. Most of my writing is a hobby, but i do have a poem published. I enjoy outdoor activities, family time and new experiences. I live in florida, so my outdoor adventures are endless!
I recently tried a work at home program for making bookmarks from home. The company is called EZ Mark Bookmarks. The website is www.ezmarkbookmarks.com. At this site you can order a starter package to assemble the bookmarks. When I received my package it held enough supplies to make about 2 or 3 bookmarks. These bookmarks are not the normal bookmarks. They are made by braiding thin string of 2 colors, each color at 7 1/2 feet! Then you must "compass braid" the 2 colors together at a finished measurement of 7 1/2" - 8". This process took so long that it was not wort
h the pay offer. It took about 1.5 - 2 hours to make just one bookmark (this was my first time, may take less time after practice). The pay is that for every 35 bookmarks sent in you get around $120 or so. Every bookmark has to meet their standards and measurements to the exact. It is a very good thing that I bought the same type of string that was supplied and tried the project on my own, before using their supplies. I can get most of my money back because the starter package is still intact. I would not recommend trying this work at home company unless you are a wizard with your hands and can really commit to strenuous braiding involved.

Well you are right about the bookmarks i actually used my materials it took me45 minutes if not more just to braid the strands before the tying even began. It is totally not worth the pay. To make even 35 bookmarks a week you have to spend about 10 hours a day working on them!! I'm only gonna get 1/4 of my money back!

THANK YOU! for writing this up! I hadn't sent in the "inquiry" letter to EZ Bookmarks Inc., yet, and, now I won't!
Thank you for the heads up. This is the kind of stuff we need to know before we invest time and money!

I have been making craft projects and selling the items to make some extra money. A great place to get craft ideas, how-to's and craft projects for holidays is at http://www.favecrafts.com - they seem to add hundreds of ideas each week.
